Recording Guitar:
Spaced pair recording with two condenser mic one at the neck of the guitar pointing down to the body and another condenser at the body pointing up at the neck.
however for our recording added a third mic to the recording set up. this was a condenser SE vocal mic. this was to get a mix of both sounds from the neck and the body so that during the performance any movement of the guitarist (TOM ROSS) will still have a full sound of both the low end and high end frequencies.
During the recording we did two different takes as some of the dynamics in the first take the dynamics were too low and there was not enough variation. the second recording was a lot better as there was more dynamic variation.
